WILD OATS: Store here closing April 13

The Wild Oats store at 8823 Ladue Road in Ladue is closing April 13. Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods bought the Wild Oats chain last year for $565 million and said at the time it would close the Ladue store at an unspecified time.
The Ladue Road store is about 17,000 square feet and much smaller than a typical Whole Foods 500 fast cash. The approximately 75 employees have been offered jobs either at the store 1601 South Brentwood Boulevard or the Town and Country store scheduled to open in the spring.
